1. Overview & How We Work
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of Ambisius, a business data platform built and operated by PT. AMBISIUS LAB INDONESIA (trading as "Ambisius Lab"). We believe in clear rules, transparent pricing, and respecting your ownership of your data:
- Company: Operated by PT. AMBISIUS LAB INDONESIA (Ambisius Lab), registered as an electronic system operator (PSE) in Indonesia.
- Mobile & Web Roles: Our mobile app is designed as an operational field companion for your staff on the go. Business account setup, workspace structures, and billing are managed directly on our desktop web app.
- Simple Roles: Access is organized into three straightforward roles: Owner, Admin, and Member.
- Prepaid, No Surprises: You buy prepaid terms (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) via local Indonesian payment methods (Virtual Account or QRIS). We do not auto-debit your account. All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Your Data Is Always Yours: You own 100% of your business data. We never hold your data hostage—the Owner can export everything to standard Microsoft Excel (
.XLSX) at any time, even if your plan expires.
- Helpful AI, Human Responsibility: Our built-in AI Agent helps you design tables and formulas quickly, complete with a 1-turn undo. You always remain in control and responsible for verifying numbers and business logic. We never use your business data to train public AI models.
2. Terms of Service
Welcome to Ambisius.
These Terms form a clear agreement between PT. AMBISIUS LAB INDONESIA ("Ambisius Lab", "we", "us", or "our") and you or the business you represent ("you" or "Customer").
By creating an account, logging in, or using Ambisius across our web app (app.ambisius.com), website (ambisius.com), or mobile apps, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you represent a company or team, you confirm that you have the authority to agree to these terms on their behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Section 1 — Key Terms & Definitions
To keep things simple, here is what our terms mean:
- Account: Your personal login profile used to access Ambisius.
- Organization: Your team or business space on Ambisius that holds your plan, workspaces, databases, member seats, and AI credits.
- Owner: The person who creates the Organization (or to whom ownership is transferred). The Owner has full authority over billing, team seats, exports, and deleting the organization.
- Admin: A team member seat with builder access. Admins can create databases, build formulas and logic, manage member permissions, and use the AI Agent.
- Member: An operational team member (such as field staff, cashiers, technicians, or drivers) invited to input, view, and update records on mobile or web based on permissions set by the Owner or Admin.
- Workspace: A folder or group of related databases inside an Organization.
- Database: A table with properties (columns), records (rows), forms, and views.
- Customer Data: All records, files, images, numbers, and text you and your team enter into Ambisius.
- Prepaid Term: The fixed period of access you buy upfront (1, 3, 6, or 12 months).
- Restricted Mode: A temporary safety state that turns on if your paid term ends and your data exceeds the Free tier limits.
Section 2 — Accounts & Eligibility
- Who Can Use Ambisius: Ambisius is built for business and professional use. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements.
- Representing a Business: If you sign up on behalf of a company, shop, or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.
- Keeping Your Account Secure: You are responsible for keeping your password, login links, and account secure. Let us know right away at
security@ambisius.com if you notice any unauthorized access to your account.
Section 3 — Team Roles & Permissions
- Owner Responsibilities: Each Organization has one Owner. Only the Owner can upgrade plans, buy seats, export all data, or delete the Organization. An Owner cannot leave an Organization without first transferring ownership to another user or deleting the Organization.
- Admin Actions: Admins act on behalf of your business. Any changes an Admin makes to tables, views, formulas, or permissions are considered authorized by your business.
- Member Activity: Members use Ambisius to record and update daily work. Every change made by a Member is logged in the database Activity History so your team always has a clear audit trail.
Section 4 — Pricing, Billing & No-Refund Policy
- Prepaid Terms (No Auto-Debit): We believe in honest pricing without surprise charges. You buy access upfront for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. We do not automatically charge your card or debit your account. When your term is ending, we send friendly reminders so you can choose whether to renew.
- Currency & Payment: Prices are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Payments are made through standard Indonesian banking channels (Virtual Accounts and QRIS). Invoices remain valid for 24 hours.
- Adding Admins Mid-Term: You can add Admin seats at any time. We charge a simple daily rate (Rp 1.000 per day remaining in your current term). Inviting an Admin reserves a seat from your pool.
- Strict No-Refund Policy:
- All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Because we operate on fixed prepaid terms with no surprise recurring billing, we do not issue cash refunds, chargebacks, or credits for any purchases.
- This applies to prepaid plans, term extensions, mid-term upgrades, additional Admin seats, extra AI credits, unused time, or early account deletions.
Section 5 — The AI Agent & Practical Responsibility
- Monthly & Extra Credits: Paid plans come with a monthly allowance of AI credits that resets every month on your anchor day. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Extra credit packs stay valid as long as your paid plan is active.
- Rolling 4-Hour Limits: To prevent system overload and keep the service fast for everyone, credit usage follows a rolling 4-hour limit (for example, 15 credits per 4 hours on Starter, 100 on Growth).
- Working With AI: The AI Agent is a fast assistant that helps build tables, formulas, and connections based on your prompts. Like all modern AI, it can occasionally make mistakes or misinterpret instructions.
- Your Responsibility to Review: We provide a 1-turn undo button so you can instantly revert any action the agent takes. You and your Admins are responsible for reviewing and verifying any generated formulas, pricing calculations, or table setups before using them in your business operations. Ambisius Lab is not liable for business or financial errors resulting from unverified AI suggestions.
- Privacy First: We never use your private business records or data to train public AI foundation models.
Section 6 — Your Data Ownership & Export Rights
- You Own 100% of Your Data: Everything you and your team put into Ambisius—customer lists, sales records, product catalogs, notes, photos—belongs entirely to you. Ambisius Lab claims zero ownership over your business data.
- Our Limited Role: You grant us permission only to host, store, back up, and process your data to run the service for you.
- Data Never Held Hostage: The Owner can export your full data to standard Microsoft Excel (
.XLSX) format at any time directly from the web app. This right remains available even if your plan expires or enters Restricted Mode.
- Ambisius Intellectual Property: The Ambisius software, designs, logos, and features belong to Ambisius Lab. Please do not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our code or designs.
Section 7 — What Happens When a Plan Ends
- 14-Day Grace Period: When your prepaid term reaches its end date, you get a full 14-day grace period. Your entire team keeps full access while you decide whether to renew.
- Moving to Free: On day 15, if you have not renewed, your Organization moves to our permanent Free tier. If your data fits within the Free limits (up to 2,000 records, 3 workspaces, 3 Members), you can keep using Ambisius for free.
- Restricted Mode: If your data exceeds Free limits:
- The Organization enters Restricted Mode;
- Member and Admin data entry is paused;
- The Owner retains full access to review data, clean up records, upgrade, or export everything to Excel (.XLSX).
- 90-Day Inactive Deletion: If an Organization stays in Restricted Mode for 90 continuous days without action, it will be scheduled for permanent deletion. We will send warning emails to the Owner at 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before this happens.
Section 8 — Acceptable Use
We ask all users to use Ambisius responsibly. You agree not to use Ambisius for:
- Illegal activities under Indonesian law (such as online gambling / judi online, illegal lending / pinjol ilegal, or distributing harmful material);
- Violating personal data protection rights;
- Attempting to hack, scrape, bypass rate limits, or disrupt our servers and real-time sync.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Section 9 — Mobile App Store Notice
Our mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play are companion tools for your team. Account setup and billing take place on our desktop web app. You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Ambisius Lab, not with Apple or Google.
Section 10 — Disclaimers & Limits of Liability
- As-Is Service: We work hard to provide reliable software, but we provide Ambisius on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
- No Indirect Damages: To the extent permitted by law, Ambisius Lab and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost business profits, lost revenue, or operational downtime.
- Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three (3) months before the issue arose.
Section 11 — Governing Law & Resolving Disputations
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
- Talking First (Musyawarah): If any issue or disagreement arises, we agree to try to resolve it amicably together through friendly consultation for at least 30 days.
- Court Jurisdiction: If we cannot resolve it amicably, the dispute will be handled by the District Court of South Jakarta (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan).
Section 12 — Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify the Owner by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continuing to use Ambisius after that date means you accept the updated terms.
